Local Media Coverage

In July 2000, Oklahoma's legislature passed an HMO responsibility law. This law was the result of countless hours of effort donated by many individuals, including Larry Tawwater. His efforts were instrumental in seeing this important patient's rights bill passed in Oklahoma. His efforts have been recognized in local media.

Governor's Task Force on Tort Reform

Larry served on the Governor's blue-ribbon Task Force on Tort Reform. The Task Force was formed by the Governor to examine the increase in medical malpractice insurance premiums.
